Your journey begins with a simple, heart-to-heart conversation. After adding a new kid to your crew, Mai will engage you in a session to learn all about your child's unique interests, passions, and learning style. From there, Mai creates a custom first week of 9 adventures—a beautiful series of missions designed for you to get to know Mai, while Mai gets to know your family's world.

Adding a learner is easy! On your Personal Dashboard, look for the 'Your Crew' section. You'll see a circular button labeled '+ New Kid'. Tapping this will guide you through the process of setting up a profile for your child.

Absolutely! Mai is designed to learn and adapt alongside your family. Every conversation and completed mission helps Mai understand your child's evolving interests and learning pace. We highly recommend regular interaction, as this allows Mai to fine-tune her guidance and create a truly unique learning journey that grows just as your child does.

To create a spark, use the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Select the lesson generation button to start building a personalized learning journey. You can choose subjects and interests to tailor the experience perfectly for your child.

All your family's learning highlights are saved in 'My Memories'. You can access this from the Side Menu (tap your avatar or the menu icon). In My Memories, you can review past conversations, summaries, and shared learning moments.

If you have multiple children linked to your account, you can switch between them by opening the Side Menu and selecting 'Switch Account' under your profile name. You can also manage all profiles in the 'Manage Profiles' section.

If the conversation with Mai feels stuck or unresponsive, you can close the session by clicking on the hang up button (the large circular button with a phone icon) at the bottom of the calling screen. You can then restart the session from your dashboard.

Ensure you've granted Microphone permissions to the app in your device settings. Mai works best in a quiet environment. If you're in a noisy place, you can tap the Keyboard icon at the bottom of the calling screen to switch to chat mode and type your messages.

Yes. All conversations are private, secure, and designed to be age-appropriate. You can review and control everything.

Mai is available now on iPhone through the App Store. There is no Android version yet.

Yes. Every family starts with First Spark, a one-time welcome pack of 10 Sparks with complete access to every tool. There's nothing to buy to get started.

A Spark is what Mai uses to create a new personalized lesson for your child. Voice chats with Mai and lessons from Mai's Library never use Sparks.

Every plan, including the free one, comes with Endless Voice Chats, the Open Library (run any pre-made lesson without using Sparks), the Smart Safety Guard (Parent PIN, custom guardrails, and real-time alerts), One Family Profile, and Screen Sync, so you control the flow on your phone while your child watches on their own screen.

Spark Plus gives you 20 fresh Sparks every month, with smart rollover so you can bank up to 40. Spark Unlimited gives you unlimited Sparks with zero credit tracking. Both are available monthly or yearly.

First Spark is free. Spark Plus is $49 a month or $490 a year. Spark Unlimited is $99 a month or $990 a year. Yearly billing saves about 17%. Prices are in USD, and the App Store shows your local price.

On Spark Plus, yes. Smart rollover lets you bank up to 40 Sparks. The First Spark welcome pack is a one-time gift, and Spark Unlimited doesn't need any tracking.

Yes. One Family Profile lets you link every child's device and add their profiles straight to your account.

In the app, choose Choose Spark Plus or Go Unlimited on the subscription screen. Payment is handled securely by Apple through your App Store account.

Open your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Mai School. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Sign in with the same account, then tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen and your plan will come back.
